Certification is a procedure by which you can show that products fulfil specified requirements. INSTA-CERT certification is independent certification procedure where products will be tested and inspected by an independent body accepted by INSTA-CERT.
Procedure is described in documents: General Certification Rules (GRC) and product specific rules (SBC). SBCs, written for each products, specifies requirements for products and inspections. They are based on standards or on Nordic Product Specifications.
The rules are established in working groups, which consist of all interested parties, manufacturers, users, laboratories, inspectors etc. in order to develop rules according with market needs taking in account Nordic circumstances.
